Hello, I’m a co-founder of a tech company and we’re nearly 3 years old. I’ve spent 18 years in tech and really wanted to add some joy, support and guidance into what can be a very overwhelming and technical world for non-tech business and product owners. I am so delighted that females are taking lead roles and I feel more normal these days but I still walk into rooms as the token woman so I do whatever I can to champion us and hope I do my own small part by having a female tech team. On our founder journey, we’ve come to realise that our work has been significantly with co-founders who have lost their way. They already have some traction with an MVP and have had some funding but they have come to realise that the team they were working with are not fit for purpose and communication has broken down. It’s a frustrating and sometimes devastating position to find yourself in as a founder, but generally most things are fixable and that’s what we do.
